At Crociferi street N.44, near Fontana di Trevi, there was Marc’Aurelio editorial office, a roman, satirical-funny, magazine where, since 30’ years Federico Fellini, Marcello Marchesi, Vittorio Metz, Giovanni Mosca, Cesare Zavattini and others…worked. As I worked as a Graphic for the Experimental Centre of Cinematography, I had the opportunity to enter in that office. My first impression was ghastly: Vittorio Vighi, together another colleague, run up and down for the corridor, screaming like a madman. Someone smiled and invited me to enter (probably into the Director office), where I showed my drawings. They order me, immediately , a series of free subjects, to which, in the second time (Fellini? Marchesi? Mosca?) should added few words. In this way, my career of colourist, started. I worked here, until Marc’Aurelio closed, because the TV made its first appearance. |
The girl speaks "How long are we being here?" The boy answers "From about three thousand and five hundred Lire". |
